Biography
I believe that God provides for us and that we should trust His plan for our lives. Proverbs 3: 5, 6 affirms that I have no power to change my life. If I would only trust Him, He will lead me in His way and His will.
I graduated from The University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis, TN in 2010 with a terminal degree (Doctor of Nursing Practice--DNP). I believe this level of education has prepared me for teaching and leadership in nursing practice.
I have been at King University since January 2014. I chose to teach at King University primarily because of the Christian background and the support for carrying out mission work by faculty and students by the King University administration, faculty, and staff.
An interest of mine is mission work (in the past I've been to Ghana, W. Africa, Morant Bay, Jamaica). Currently, I have spent the last 5 years going to Kisumu, Kenya on medical and evangelical missions.
I am interested in traveling to various countries and learning about different cultures. I also like theater, movies, and music. Most of all, I like being a grandmother to my only grandchild, Kai.
